Senior Game Designer for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Damien Monnier recently took to the game’s official forums to talk about the upcoming RPG.
Speaking of the romance options in the game, Monnier stated that romantic interactions in the game work identical to real life.
Though he did not clarify Geralt’s romantic interactions with courtesans, he did state that Geralt is one-girl-at-a-time kind of lad. For instance, if you decide to start a new relationship with someone, you must shun your current romantic interest:
I don’t know about prostitutes, I’m sort of a one girl kind a guy, but for sure choosing somebody over somebody else could close off options – like in real life.
Last year, the voice actor for Geralt of Rivia Doug Cockle stated The Witcher 3 will take the romance options and explicit content to another level and it will allow players to do whatever they want.
On another instance, Damien Monnier stated that The Witcher 3 features 16 hours of sex scenes.
In related Witcher news, CD Projekt RED recently shared new footage from the Playstation 4 version of the game running at native 1080p and 30 frames per second.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt releases on May 19 for PC, Playstation 4, and Xbox One.
