Humble Weekly Bundle With RPG Maker Breaks Sale Record

The currently Humble Weekly Bundle, which features game development software RPG Maker VX Ace, is the "best selling" edition to date, dixit the company.

Business is still booming for the Humble company, as they announced that their current weekly bundle, which features RPG Maker, is the most successful offering to date. In a recent Twitter message on their feed, the digital platform states:

RPG Maker has now officially set a record for best selling weekly bundle! Buy it now, tip the scale even more!

This deal is sizable, to say the least. Not only does it offer RPG Maker VX Ace, a product that normally costs €59.99, at a starting donation of $1, it also throws in tons of other content.

For instance, the first tier of the bundle also comes with Steam games Skyborn and Sweet Lily Dreams. Those who pledge as little as $6 receive even more downloadable content (DLC) for the development software, as well as its other iteration, RPG Maker XP, plus games like To the Moon and Deadly Sin 2.

There’s a third tier, which starts at $12, where even more DLC and games are handed out. This is a tiny price in comparison to what the veritable ton of assets would normally cost.

And the Humble bundle still has over a full day to keep eclipsing its prior records. Currently, the sale has brought in $1.35 million in payments from over 150,000 purchases.

Given the volume of the deal, it’s surprising that profits are so high with top contributors “only” going as high as $200. You don’t quite have to donate as much for the Humble Weekly Bundle with RPG Maker, but do try to give appropriately.

Also, let us know if you plan to make something with RPG Maker, we’d love to know!
