Video games are not immune to bugs and glitches and same is the case with the newly released FIFA 18 as gamers are reporting a FIFA 18 glitch that is quite frustrating and gives somewhat of an advantage to rage quitters in online matches.
As reported by user “i-zez7” on FIFA forums, he was playing with another player and was winning comfortably but, the losing player rage quit in the 60th minute and turns out the game didn’t record his loss on the leaderboards.
However, this is not the only instance where this FIFA 18 glitch occurred as i-zez7 reports that the exact FIFA 18 glitch also happened with pro player @nycom5.
With EA Sports recently launching a patch for the game, it seems that it will be a while before the studio will roll out a fix for the glitch. Also, this glitch appeared in FIFA 17 but, it worked slightly different.
Also, this is not the only glitch to appear for FIFA 18 as the Switch version of the game is experiencing a glitch that leaves players faceless. This FIFA 18 glitch causes players to have no faces which is quite disturbing for the Nintendo Switch users.
In related news, Players are reporting their dissatisfaction with the removal of Guest Play from FIFA 18 Ultimate Team on FIFA SubReddit and on the other hand, fans have started an online petition which is almost near its 10,000 signature goal(at the time of writing). Fans have demanded that EA Sports either bring this feature back or issue refunds.
FIFA 18 is a soccer simulator sports title developed by EA Sports for PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch.
