In a couple of interviews with the voice actor for Geralt of Rivia, Doug Cockle and CD Projekt RED Senior Gameplay Designer, Damien Monnier; we have loads of information on The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, straight from San Diego Comic Con 2014.
Hinting how large the game is going to be, Cockle has stated that he has recorded well over 150 hours for The Witcher 3 and he is still not done. Moreover, although Cockle hasn’t played any of the previous instalments, he is familiar with some of the improvements over the game’s predecessors.
Speaking of some minor improvements, the number of enemies simultaneously appearing on the screen has increased and players will notice water dripping from their horses’ hooves as they will step out of a pool.
Cockle has also revealed that the game will take the romance options and explicit content way ahead of previous instalments; allowing players to do whatever they want.
Coming to the element of violence featured in the game, Senior Gameplay Designer, Damien Monnier stated that decapitating, beheading, or shredding of limbs will primarily be determined by a player’s weapons and skills.
Other minor improvements include diving into the open sea or traversing mountains to reach new areas.
Damien also ensures that they are striving hard to bring the same quality across all platforms. Check out both interviews above and share your thoughts with us!
