Star Wars Battlefront: Space Battles and Outer Rim, Bespin Expansions Leaked?

An alleged insider has leaked details on three of the upcoming Star Wars Battlefront expansions; space battles, chewbacca, 30v30, and more.

EA has outlined the Star Wars Battlefront Season Pass on their official website some time ago, but not everything has been shared. Now, it looks like someone might have leaked a lot more about some of the expansion packs, upcoming game modes, new heroes and so on.

To start off, it looks like the previously announced Star Wars Battlefront Outer Rim expansion is going to get you two new game modes alongside new weapons and abilities and will be released on March 12.

Allegedly, the first game mode is Invasion which will be the game’s largest multiplayer mode featuring 30v30 battles. Choose between Rebels or Imperials and fight around Sullust. It plays out similar to Walker Assault but has more vehicles that will be introduced for both the Rebels and Imperials. And, it will have playable AT-ATs.

Moving on, you get 12v12 matches in Scramble fighting again as Rebels and Imperials in Tatooine. This game mode introduces new Star Cards.

The second expansion, Star Wars Battlefront Bespin will apparently be release on July 17, 2016 and bring you Lando Calrissian and Chewbacca (yes! Chewbacca!) but Han Solo will not be playable in this expansion because he is frozen in Carbonite at the time of these events.

This one will bring you Bounty Hunt where you are tasked to find Princess Leia and Luke Skywalker. Leaks suggest more details on this will come in March.

Lastly, the Star Wars Battlefront Death Star expansion will release on November 12 and it will bring you space battles set on the Death Star (I really hope it does!) reenacting the scenes from the movie.

Do keep in mind that these are based on an anonymous source from the game’s forums which we have no way of verifying – we are regarding all this as a rumor for now. However, you can read up on the officially revealed Season Pass details here.
