Warner Bros. is about to make an important announcement on March 8, 2017. There’s no official information on this announcement yet, but some rumors hints it could be related to the next Batman Arkham game.

Today, in fact, a man (who says to be a Warner Bros. employee) has stated on Reddit that Warner Bros. is working on a game called Arkham Insurgency, that will be set three years after the events of Batman Arkham Origins.

The main characters will be Batman and Robin (Dick Grayson), while the main villains will be Owlman and The Court of Owls. The map will be the same size as the three islands from Arkham Knight.

For what concerns the plot, what we know is there has been a mass breakout at Blackgate and Arkham Asylum, with the criminals attacking across the city.

Batman Arkham Insurgency, according to the leak, will be based on the same engine as of Batman Arkham Knight, featuring a deeper combat system more focused on 1 v 1 fights.
