Zelda: Breath of the Wild Climbing Gear Location Guide
Players will spend a lot of time in Legend of Zelda: Breth of The Wild climbing and climbing in this game is not as easy as in Skyrim.
Climbing is an important part of BotW and climbing opens up a lot of options for players in terms of gameplay and exploration.
Your ability to climb depends upon the stamina bar of Link. The stamina bar increases every time you gather 4 spirit orbs from shrines, you can spend these orbs to gain another stamina vessel.
Climbing Armor Set
There is another way to increase your stamina, through the Climbing Armor Set.
The Climbing Armor Set is made up of three pieces: The Climber’s Bandana, the Climbing Gear, and the Climbing Boots. Each piece of armor gives a boost to Link’s climbing speed.
However, if you have only one piece of armor equipped then the boost will not be significant. However, as this bonus stacks up it becomes a serious improvement as Link will be climbing mountains like a monkey.
It is also recommended to combine Climbing Armor Set with a speed buff via an elixir or a cooked meal.
The Climbing Armor also has a set bonus, meaning if you have upgraded it twice at the Great Fairy Fountain you will get an additional bonus.
For climbing gear set bonus players will notice that the stamina consumption is reduced while climbing.

Climber’s Bandana Location
The Climber’s Bandana is found in the Ree Dahee Shrine which is located adjacent to the river that passes through the dueling peaks, inside the Dueling Peaks as you pass through the two mountains. Also, it is likely that you will pass through this shrine as you progress through the main story.
Climbing Gear Location
The body piece of climbing Armor Set is found inside the Chaas Qeta Shrine. This shrine is on a small island located at the South-Eastern shore of Hyrule.
Keep an eye out for an area that curves into a tip and you have to follow that tip up there, out in the Necluda Sea you find the shrine you need.
Climbing Boots Location
The final part of the Climbing Armor set is the climbing boots and these boots are found in the Tahno O’ah Shrine.
This shrine is located on the eastern edges of Mount Lanayru which on the eastern side of the map. Start from Hateno Research Lab and go northeast and you will find your shrine.
