Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Ja Baij Shrine

This Shrine is off to the east of the Great Plateau, inside a series of Ruins. Like other shrines, there are numerous dangerous enemies in the Ja Baij shrine and the path to the shrine is guarded by decayed guardians.

As you approach, ancient Guardian machines will come to life and target you with their lasers. Hitting it in its blue eye with an arrow will damage it, but we advice is to ignore them entirely.

Thankfully the walls of the ruins will block its tracking laser, so sprint through one open area to the next to avoid their glare.

These guardians cannot move around so easy for players to avoid however their attacks are deadly and will kill Link in just one hit.

The best way to avoid the guardians is to use the walls around them as cover as players move along the path towards the shrine.

Since the guardians can’t move, players can rest behind a wall to recover stamina before timing their next run to another wall.

Once players reach the Ja Baij shrine, they can initiate the puzzle and try to solve it.

To successfully solve the puzzle, players need to interact with the terminal in the shrine to get Remote Bombs and then detonate that bomb near the two large cracked stones.

Moving further down the hallway, you need to go up the ladder. Here, players will come across two moving platforms, next to another cracked wall.

This time you need to use the bomb such that it destroys the wall and so that you can get away from it in time.

After these four stones have been destroyed, players can continue further and move up the ladder to place a Square Bomb onto the far end of the floating platform they see.

To the left of the shrine is a treasure chest with Amber inside it and players can go there using the nearby launcher.

Back from where the players first came into this room, a Round Bomb needs to be dropped down a tube with a big opening.

The bomb will fly across the room through the tube and land on a big pile of rock cubes. Drop another bomb down the contraption if the first bomb does not make it and destroy the walls on the other side.

Once it is on the pile, players can detonate it to blow up the cubes.

When the cubes have been destroyed, they can hop down from the area, cross the room and then climb up the ladder on the other side of the room to reach the altar to collect their Spirit Orb reward and complete the shrine.
