Xbox One X Is The Official Name Of The Much Awaited Microsoft Project Scorpio 4K Gaming Console

The Xbox One was the orginal, then we got the Xbox One S and now the official name of Microsoft Project Scorpio has been announced, it is called Xbox One X. Xbox One X will feature 6 teraflops of computing power. The console is not only for the 4K market but also for the 1080p gamer as well. The console is the most technically advanced console that the company has made.

The CPU found in Xbox One X is based on the 16nm process and according to the company, it is the most powerful CPU to be fitted in a console. For the first time ever in a console, a vapor chamber cooling system has been fitted in order to keep it cool. This is the same cooling found in high-end GPUs as well as servers.

When it comes to design, the Xbox One X is the smallest console ever. Not only that, it also has 12 GB of GDDR5 memory packed in this small form factor. The console has premium sound and comes with 4K HD Bluray player so that you can enjoy everything in 4K. A special power delivery system has been designed to ensure efficiency and consistency.

Microsoft showed Forza Motorsports 7 running on the console and it looked amazing. One of the most important things that people were concerned about was backwards compatibility. You will be glad to know that all previous accessories will be compatible with the upcoming Xbox One X. Forza was running at 4K 60 FPS.

The game has living environments which means that the weather will be dynamic and ever changing. It seems that the release date was not leaked in the E3 teaser and the actual release date for the console is November 7th.
