Sea of Thieves, Crackdown 3 And State of Decay 2 Will Be Available On Xbox Game Pass At Launch

It’s been quite some time since Microsoft has given us any good news about Xbox One. Fortunately, today was the day we got some and it’s all about the Xbox Game Pass. According to the company, any new first-party releases on the console will be immediately added to Xbox One’s Netflix-like subscription service. Is this enough for fans to make a comeback on Microsoft’s console?

The news is, that all new first-party Microsoft releases to be added to Xbox One will also be included on Xbox Game Pass. Not a month later, not even a week later but at launch! That means that Microsoft’s upcoming titles Crackdown 3, Sea of Thieves and State of Decay 2 will be added to the service as soon as they get released.

That means that if you are interested in buying any of the aforementioned titles you can get a $10 subscription to Microsoft’s service instead of buying the full game and have access to it and all other titles included in its library for as long as you keep renewing your monthly sub.

What more could Microsoft possibly do to hype the Xbox Game Pass than to add first-day releases to its library? The company may be low profile at the moment but Xbox Games Marketing Director, Aaron Greenberg has explained some time ago that for Microsoft, services are always a priority and they believe this subscription service will be a gamechanger for them.

The Xbox Game Pass fee is $10 per month and gives you access to more than 100 titles including major titles like Halo 5, the Bioshock trilogy, Ninja Gaiden Black (from Original Xbox) and the Gears of War Trilogy. Every month its library keeps getting bigger with titles like Devil May Cry 4, Injustice and Bayonetta being added just a month ago.

Don’t forget that if you’re a member of the Xbox Live Gold crowd, however, you’ll have a week of free early access. Will you give Xbox Game Pass a chance?

Always looking for a deep story, empathetic characters, and a great soundtrack in video games. Hardcore game hoarder and a strong believer that one day Xbox will win the console war.
