Xbox Game Pass Bonus Grants You A Free Month Of Xbox Live Gold

An Xbox Game Pass bonus is apparently available in a few countries, giving players a month of Xbox Live Gold for free if they sign up.

An apparent limited-time offer has appeared on the Xbox One store offering interested parties a month of Xbox Live Gold as an Xbox Game Pass bonus if you sign up for it, though we have no real idea of whether or not it’s a limited time offer or not.

Xbox Game Pass is Xbox’s own semi-answer to Playstation Now, allowing Xbox One gamers to rent high-profile games like Gears of War Ultimate Edition, Halo 5: Guardians, DMC: Devil May Cry Definitive Edition, Mad Max, and more, all for the low monthly price of ten dollars. The current roster is over 110 games, many of which come from some of the Xbox 360’s best games and are backwards compatible on the Xbox One.

The Xbox Game Pass bonus isn’t quite abusable, though. The deal is only available in eight different countries, and it’s only for new and returning subscribers as well, so if you’ve let your subscription to Xbox Live Gold pass you can take advantage of the deal to at least have one month for free.

While it doesn’t seem like such a big deal in light of those options, it’s still something interesting to consider if you only have Xbox Live Silver rather than Gold. Gold already has a number of advantages, such as being allowed into online play and getting free games each month with their Games with Gold deals, but Silver is free and still lets you buy games off the Xbox One Store.

So, if you’re interested in trying out the difference between Xbox Live Free and Xbox Live Gold, you can possibly (if you live in the eight countries where the deal is happening) sign up for an Xbox Game Pass bonus and get the free month of Xbox Live Gold along with it, which will let you play multiplayer in the various games where it’s available.
