WWE 2K17 Submission Guide – How to Submit Your Opponent

WWE 2K17 Submission Guide with tips to help you defeat your opponents in style.

As confirmed earlier this month, there are basically two types of submissions in the game – one involving analogue stick from earlier iteration and an alternate one using buttons. The entire submission process – whether it be done using the analogue stick or button mashing – is fairly simple but reaching that state can be hard to pull off.

In our WWE 2K17 Submission Guide, we have detailed a handful of useful tips to help you claim victory with a submission.

How to Force Submission

The submission process in WWE 2K17 has two phases. Firstly, you need to make sure that your opponent has the least possible amount of stamina available. The lower you can take it, the higher your chances at a successful submission.

It is important to remember that trying to force a submission against an opponent with decent enough stamina will cause you nothing but failure – unless the opponent you are playing against is really bad. In my opinion, one of the fastest ways of depleting your opponent’s stamina is using Rest Hold.

In order to successfully execute Rest Hold, you can either grab your opponent from behind or grab him/her once and then press the grab button once again. Once you have successfully done that, you need to try and weaken one of the limbs and work your way towards the submission.

It is also important to note that going with multiple submissions can drastically damage the limb and set you up nicely. Apart from that, you must keep submission stats of your wrestlers in mind. Lastly, there are wrestlers who have submissions as their finishing moves – making it ridiculously easy to force a submission.
