World of Warcraft Patch 7.2 Readies Players For New Raid

World of Warcraft patch 7.2 is incoming, and players are going to be getting a whole mess of new content ranging from a new raid to new items, along with the normal adjustments to PVP, character balancing, and more as they head into the next phase of the Burning Legion’s invasion.

The last major event to happen in the World of Warcraft was a third invasion by the Burning Legion, which resulted in the death of Varian Wrynn and of Vol’jin, the Warchief of the Horde. With Sylvanas Windrunner leading the Horde, and with the Alliance leadership still in doubt, the situation currently looks doubtful.

World of Warcraft patch 7.2 will be including changes to every class and their abilities, with some being buffed, and some being nerfed.

The patch will also include a new raid, the Tomb of Sargeras. As a place where the leader of the Burning Legion once attempted to invade Azeroth, players will now have to assault the Tomb of Sargeras, and face all of the Burning Legion’s most dangerous servants on the way.

These include the Pit Lord Goroth, the Demonic Inquisition, the naga Harjatan the Bludger, and more, which will all come together to make a challenging raid that ends with players taking on Kil’jaeden, an eredar demon lord and Sargeras’s right-hand man (or rather, corrupted draenei).

With Kil’jaeden’s high rank, if you do manage to kill him it will be a devastating blow to the Burning Legion, and may end up being a turning point for the whole invasion of Azeroth.

In addition to the raid dungeon, World of Warcraft patch 7.2 also comes with a few new areas, such as the Cathedral of Eternal Night and the Broken Shore, where the Legion invasion first began. And in future patches, we’ll even be going to the Draenei’s original homeworld of Argus.

Patch 7.2 will be coming out on March 28, next Tuesday, so make ready, adventurers!
