The origin of Sylvanas Windrunner was unveiled in a short clip (check below) uploaded by Blizzard Entertainment on World of Warcart’s official Youtube account for the upcoming Battle for Azeroth expansion. The Battle for Azeroth includes the Warbringers series which showcases some of the most lethal characters in the world of Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Games. Stories of these characters are being brought to life with short videos.
The first of the sequence was Jaina and now we witnessed the history of the wrathful Sylvanas. The origin of Sylvanas Windrunner was explained by Blizzard with the following statement:
“In war, nothing is certain. In just one moment, a single action can determine victory or defeat. For Sylvanas Windrunner, warchief of the Horde, war has led her to many such moments—including one that will change the course of history on Azeroth.”
In the stop animation short, Sylvanas is seen recalling her battle where she tragically lost against Arthas Menthil. This event turned her into the heartless war chief that she has become. Sylvanas will be seen in this merciless role in the upcoming Battle for Azeroth title.
Sylvanas Windrunner has also been dubbed as the Banshee Queen, The Dark Lady, and Warchief of the Horse. She is considered as one of the most dreadful characters in World of Warcraft: Battle For Azeroth.
Blizzard has been expanding the Warcraft universe for the better by introducing epic characters.
Another similar short clip is expected in the series to total the 3 reported parts. Jaina featured in the first part and now Sylvanas was cast in the second.
Expected the third short anytime now as the World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth releases on 14 August 2018 on PC.
The Battle for Azeroth is available to purchase in-game but Blizzard Entertainment released its beta a while back too.
