Venom Not In Spiderman PS4 Due To Gameplay Challenges

Spiderman is one of the upcoming PS4 exclusives that everyone is waiting for and one of the issues that fans have is that some of their favorite villains have not been included in the game. Venom is a fan favorite villain and people that like him will not be pleased. It is understandable that all the villains could not be included in Spiderman PS4, the devs clarified why some villains were not included in the game.

Game director Bryan Intihar touched on the matter and the following is what he had to say in this regard:

100 percent, yes. I think that everybody has their favorite character and supporting characters and villains, but at the end of the day, some people will be super happy and some people will be wishing there was someone else in there.

There are plenty of villains in the game, from what we have seen so far and adding more might seem like too much of a cluster. Picking and choosing the best combination of villains for Spiderman would have been a difficult decision to make. That is something that we can imagine. I am sure that fans will appreciate the game, as it seems to be pretty good from what we have seen. Intihar further went on to mention the following:

We had to do what was best for the experience, (both in terms of) the story we wanted to tell and in terms of a gameplay challenge. So, we just tried to find those best matches. It’s a pretty big cast so hopefully we got a lot of peoples’ favorites.

Venom fans will be bummed but there are plenty of villains in the game and I am sure that there will be at least one that you like. Other than that, the game might be so good that fans are willing to overlook the selection of villains.

The opening cinematic of the game has been revealed and it looks really good. We have also seen the climbing mechanics of the game and they look similar to Assassin’s Creed. For more news regarding Spiderman PS4 stay tuned to SegmentNext.
