Valve Removed All Digital Homicide Games From Steam

Some of you might remember Digital Homicide, for suing the videogame personality Jim Sterling. While the case against Sterling is still ongoing, Digital Homicide has now filed a sybpoena against 100 Steam users as part of a new lawsuit. This has resulted in Valve removing all of the Digital Homicide games from Steam.

The lawsuit seeks 18 million dollars from 100 anonymous Steam users. Digital Homicide, however, does not know the names of the users so they have named the Steam handled in lawsuit.

The most ridiculous part of this whole story is that, Digital Homicide has launched a sybpoena against Valve to reveal the identities of these Steam users. Valve on the other hand has not taken lightly to it and has removed the entire catalog of Digital Homicide games from sale.

Digital Homicide games

The removal of Digital Homicide’s games from Steam indicate that Valve had enough of the company’s weary conduct.

However, those who still own the Digital Homicide’s games will be able to access the games from their steam library, also anyone who has purchased the game keys through third party services will be able to redeem them.

The lawsuit against the Steam users was filled by the company for openly criticizing the game developer. The lawsuit states:

Plaintiff is informed and believes and thereon alleges that, at all times herein mentioned, each of the defendants sued herein was during listed events and/or currently is a member of an organized hate and harassment group or assisted said hate and harassment group that specifically formed on [Steam] to financially destroy and harass The Plaintiff and other targeted developers… This hate and harassment group, Digital Homicides Poop Games, was created from the name of The Plaintiff’s company Digital Homicide Studios LLC.

What do you think of this whole situation? Did valve made the right decision to remove Digital Homicide games? Let us know in the comments.
