Upcoming Nintendo Switch Games Will Make A Very Strong 2018 For Nintendo

A number of different upcoming Nintendo Switch games will make this year a very strong one for Nintendo, according to a recent statement by GameStop CEO Mike K. Mauler. The console has done very well since it released in March of last year, and this year seems poised to be even better.

With a number of strong early titles such as Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Super Mario Odyssey, and games like Mario Kart 8 and Splatoon 2, the Nintendo Switch has hit a number of goldmines this year just in first-party games alone. And with numerous third-party titles also being ported to the console, that only made the Switch even better.

And that’s not even getting into other upcoming Nintendo Switch games. Kirby Star Allies came out in mid-March and proved to be very popular, and the Nintendo Direct that revealed that a new Super Smash Bros game was in the works was the talk of the internet for multiple days.

And that’s not even getting into games that haven’t come out yet. Over the last few months we’ve gotten announcements for a number of different games such as Bayonetta 3 and a new Metroid Prime game coming to the Switch. Considering that Metroid hasn’t had an actual good game in years, that’s bound to bring in a lot of sales for it.

Donkey Kong Jungle Freeze is also being ported to the Switch off the Wii U, and a new Mario Tennis game called Mario Tennis Aces will also be coming. And even those aren’t taking all of the unannounced NIntendo Switch games into account. There’s bound to be a ton of different games that Nintendo will be releasing or announcing this year, and there’s bound to be a lot of different third-party games that will also be coming out.
