Twitch Streamer Alinity Under Heavy Fire For Animal Abuse Allegations On Stream

Twitch.Tv has very strict guidelines. Farting on stream could lead to a ban if you’re not careful. At the same time, Twitch can leave some things unattended for a while, provoking the community to take action. This is the case with Twitch streamer Alinity, who is now being accused of animal abuse based on two incidents caught on camera.

Here are both the incidents as they were captured when she was live:

The first video depicts her throwing her cat over her head behind herself. This was done in frustration to whatever she was playing at the time. Frustration is never an excuse to vent on a creature of any sort. At the same time, it could have been worse. At least she didn’t hit the feline.

The second video which people took to more harshly involved vodka. Alinity reportedly spit the vodka into her cat’s mouth. Upon watching the video, you can see that the claim was slightly exaggerated. She still did give her cat Vodka though which isn’t right.

Twitch has left her channel up which invoked pretty heavy backlash in response. People were mainly frustrated with the fact that a streamer can be banned for streaming in bathrooms but not for animal cruelty. PETA also got involved with trying to shut the channel down, ironic if you ask me. But let’s not get into that.

I do support the investigation she is now under for animal abuse. Once you see a bit of it on camera it’s hard to tell what might be happening off camera. Though until anything is proven, is it really animal cruelty?

The cat wasn’t hit at any point, looks healthy and has no marks or signs of abuse. An abused cat also wouldn’t be as comfortable and docile as this one was. Am I saying she’s innocent? No, that’s still being investigated. But am I saying those clips are animal abuse? Also no.

Either way, a verdict on Alinity and her animal abuse accusations are yet to be passed.
