Pokemon: Let’s Go Pikachu and Eevee is finally here! It includes a very interesting feature that allows the players to transfer their favorite Pokemon from Pokemon Go to Pokemon: Let’s Go.
It is a very useful feature if you have a collection of Pokemon but you will not be able to do it right off the bat. But don’t worry because we are here to explain exactly how to do this and when.
Transfer Pokemon from Pokemon Go to Pokemon: Let’s Go
Now to transfer your favorite Pokemon from Pokemon Go to Pokemon: Let’s Go Pikachu and Eevee, you will need to connect both versions of the game through your “Pokemon Account”.
Moreover, you will have to play Pokemon: Let’s Go for some time before the feature unlocks.
Step #1: How to Unlock this Feature
In order to do this all, you have to reach Fuchsia City in Pokemon: Let’s Go. Fuchsia City is where you will get access to Go Parks. There are twenty parks in the game and each one can hold up to fifty Pokemon which makes it a thousand in total.
Therefore, start building your collecting of Pokemon today by transferring them from Go to Let’s Go.
Although keep in mind that there are still some limitations when using this feature. This includes that you will not be able to transfer a Pokemon back once to you send it to Let’s Go.
Lastly, there are some Pokemon which cannot be transferred from Go to Let’s or from Let’s Go to Go.
Step #2: Connecting Accounts
To start, you have to link your Pokemon: Let’s Go Pikachu & Eevee games with your Pokemon Go account.
For that, there are two methods, so let us start with Pokemon Go. Start the application and press “PokeBalls” icon that is in the middle of the screen.
Once done, you have to go in settings and scroll all the way until you see a “Nintendo Switch” icon. Now, you will have to tap on it in order to connect.
The other way to do this is by using the all-new Let’s Go Pikachu & Eevee on your Nintendo Switch. You have to press “X” to bring up the menu and go into the settings by pressing Y.
Once inside, find Pokemon Go and press yes to confirm the connection between two. Once done, you will be required to verify your “Pokemon Go account” and by pressing “Yes” again will complete the process.
Step #3: How to Transfer
Now let us head to the part where you can finally bring your favorite characters. To do it, open your Pokemon Go app on mobile and tap the PokeBalls icon just like you previously did.
Now select the Pokemon icon and there you will find a Nintendo Switch icon on the top left corner. Tap it and find the Pokemon that you wish to transfer.
Hold on and long press to select that Pokemon and then the game will ask you if you really want to transfer this Pokemon or not. Press “Yes” and “OK” to confirm and then you will see a Magical Message telling you that the Pokemon has been sent.
That is not all, as you will also earn one Candy for transferring a Pokemon each time!
