Among various fun activities that The Sims 4 offers, one is collecting different collectibles ranging from fishes to coloured crystals. There are a total of thirteen collectibles that can be collected and most of them require you to explore different locations.

The Sims 4 Collectibles
After acquiring a collectible, you can use it to decorate your home or sell it for a price. Furthermore, some of these collectibles emit an emotional aura that be used to change the mood of Sims in the area where that collectible is placed.
In this guide, I’ll be talking about all thirteen collectibles, their potential effects, and how to find them.
Aliens
Emotional Aura: Confidence
First off, you’ll need a rocket to travel to the outer atmosphere and collect aliens. There are a total of ten aliens that you need to complete this collection. The aliens that you can find in outer space along with their selling prices are:

Unlike collecting aliens, you don’t need to travel to outer space to collect crystals. Instead, you need to explore different neighbourhoods and dig up rocks to find them. There are a total of twenty crystals that you need find to complete this collection.
Crystals are composed of different elements which is another type of collectible that you can collect. Read on to know more about elements collectible. Here are all the crystals along with their selling prices:

Like I have mentioned above, crystals are composed of different elements. Once you dig out a crystal from a rock, you can call Geological Council and send them the crystal to get it decomposed into elemental form. Do note that once a crystal is decomposed, it cannot be used a crystal anymore and the process is irreversible.

Each neighbourhood offers more than one fishing ponds where your Sim can collect different fishes. Some of these fishing ponds only yield common and uncommon fishes; there are some ponds which yield rare fishes. Another thing to keep in mind is your Sim’s fishing skill. There are some fishing ponds which require higher fishing skills.

Frogs can be collected by exploring the neighbourhood areas and looking for them inside small ponds and wooden logs. There are a total of twenty-five types of frogs that you can collect, but you don’t have to find all of them.
Different types of frogs can be cross-bred to give birth to a new type of frog. This can be helpful if you cannot seem to find a particular frog. Here is a complete list of all the frogs with their respective selling prices:

You’ll also need to travel to the outer space to find rare plants to add to your collection. Lastly, it’s very important to improve your Gardening Skill as it’s extremely handy when completing this collection.

Once you’ve acquired the treasure map, you can follow its directions and find a buried capsule. Opening up these hidden capsules will yield the MySims Trophies.

After buying a computer, you need to head over to the socialize category and look for a Pen Pal in any city. After a couple of hours, you’ll know where your Pen Pal lives so you can it a letter.
After building up a strong relationship, you can ask your Pen Pal to send you a postcard of the city it lives in. There are a total fifteen postcards to complete this collection and they’re all provided below with their respective selling prices:
