The Secret World Errors and Fixes

#1 Blue Screen Error
Although the issue can be due to multiple reasons, playing the game with DirectX 9 instead of DirectX 11 can fix the problem for you. It was known issue in the beta, and it should be fixed in the full release.

#2 Having Troubles With Launcher Update
Make sure that your firewall or antivirus is not blocking the launcher. If you are using antivirus clients like Avira or programs like F-Secure, disable them before updating.

#3 Can’t Hear the Dialogues
Make sure that the in-game dialogue volume option is loud enough. This is not a common bug, and it won’t be surprising if you didn’t think about changing the dialogue volume before.

#4 The Secret World – Only two servers are visible
The problem is related to some Config file. If you are facing this issue, then you most probably are using the TestLive Config. You need to swap it with Early Access Local Config.

How? Follow the link and log into your account. On the right side you will see the option to switch between Test Live and Early Access. Swap the config files and you will be fine.

#5 Authentication Failure Error
If you are facing this problem, then the obvious thing to check first is to make sure that you are entering your account details right.

If the problem persists, you can try out the solution mentioned in #5 problem above. If none of this helps, the customer support is your last resort.
