Microsoft’s on-going E3 2019 press conference has brought us the new The Outer Worlds trailer. The new trailer reveals that The Outer Worlds release date is set for October 25 on Microsoft’s Xbox One, PC and Sony’s PlayStation 4.
Furthermore, The Outer Worlds will be also available via Xbox Game Pass subscription at launch. Interested folks can check out The Outer Worlds E3 trailer below to witness the breathtaking visuals of the upcoming sci-fi shooter by Obsidian.
As seen in the trailer shown at 2019 Electronic Entertainment Expo, players will have to do whatever it takes to come on top of different factions in the game. The trailer reveals more about the game’s sci-fi world, game characters, and creatures that’ll our your way in the game. We also got to see different weapons in the Outer Worlds trailer that the players will be able to use to take down different types of enemies in the game.
The game description is as follows.
Lost in transit while on a colonist ship bound for the furthest edge of the galaxy, you awake decades later only to find yourself in the midst of a deep conspiracy threatening to destroy the Halcyon colony. As you explore the furthest reaches of space and encounter various factions, all vying for power, the character you decide to become will determine how this player-driven story unfolds. In the corporate equation for the colony, you are the unplanned variable.
There’s a lot of hype about the upcoming game as it feels like a spiritual successor to Obsidian Entertainment’s Fallout: Las Vegas. The game’s co-director are Leonard Boyarsky and Tim Cain, who created Fallout: Las Vegas. Personally, I think that the game looks a lot like Rage and Borderlands combined.
The game is in development by Obsidian Entertainment and will be published by Take-Two Interactive’s Private Division.
In case you don’t know already, The Outer Worlds will release on PC as an Epic Games Store exclusive for some time. The Outer Worlds will arrive on Steam sometime in 2020. We will share more about the game as this story is developing.
