Here’s what the listing looks like as of now.

The pre-order button for the retail version of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild for Nintendo Switch is grayed out. Meanwhile, the digital version of the game is still available. This indicates that GameStop may have run out of retail copies of The Legend of Zelda.

Copies are still available at other retailers so it looks like GameStop now needs to contact Nintendo to replenish its stock. If you are yet to pre-order the game, run along and grab a copy from your nearest retailers or online stores.

On a related subject, Nintendo Switch is releasing on March 3 alongside The Legend of Zelda.

Speaking with Gamespot, Bethesda’s game director, Todd Howard, said that Nintendo Switch is a smart thing from Nintendo and it is something that only Nintendo can make.

I think it’s really smart what they’ve done. I think it’s the kind of device that only Nintendo could make. It’s exciting to bring Skyrim to the Nintendo audience.

He went on to say that Nintendo is a great partner but before Nintendo Switch the company was not interested in what Bethesda had to offer.
