The Last of Us 2 and Death Stranding Release Date Possibly Set Beyond 2019

Exclusive PS4 titles are always something to look forward to for the fans of the gaming community. Moreover, the hype gets even more when you’re talking about games like The Last of Us: Part 2 and Death Stranding. Sony has issued a statement which suggests that The Last of Us 2 and Death Stranding release date isn’t good to go.

SIE Worldwide Studios isn’t exactly aiming to release these massive titles next year. Developers aren’t keen on launching The Last of Us 2 anytime in 2019. Same is the case with the Death Stranding release date if we look at the recently released statement.

We know many of you will want to know about key upcoming titles such as the beta for Dreams, Blood & Truth, Death Stranding, Ghost of Tsushima, and The Last of Us: Part II. The studios are hard at work polishing up these epic PS4 games, but we aren’t yet ready to share a release timeframe. When that news is available, rest assured – you’ll be the first to know!

Marketing VP at SIE Worldwide Studios, Asad Qizilbash posted this in a blog. This blog was only written for release dates of the upcoming PS4 games. But Asad decided to address the elephant in the room in the meantime.

The updated release date for Days Gone was also announced for 26 April 2019. Still, by the looks of it is probable that the much talked about titles are going to come out after 2019. Moreover, it does not show at all that these games have not gone through the development stages. By cleaning up Sony might mean to polish them before The Last of Us 2 and Death Stranding release date it out.

The launch of Ghost of Tsushima is also uncertain according to Sony’s statement. Developers of the game showed an interest in getting an outside artist for help before.

Meanwhile, Kojima has assured us before that release date for Death Stranding is the same. Last of Us: Part 2 also has some reason for which it won’t come out in 2019.
