The Division 2 Update 1.09 Reportedly Increased Raid Difficulty

The Division 2 update 1.09 rolled out with the exotic holster and Gunner specialization. But under the hood, it might have featured more than what the patch notes confirmed. Update 1.09 reportedly increased Operations Dark Hours raid difficulty.

Some Reddit users report facing difficulty completing The Division 2 raid since 1.09. The third boss now heals faster and more often. Meanwhile, others report facing a more challenging Razorback. The raid difficulty seems increased across the board. Reported changes include:

  • Boomer’s healing is double
  • Weasel has 2x armor
  • Buddy heals faster and often
  • Razorback is tougher
  • Can’t blindfire during Lucy’s 360 spin without getting downed

It is to be noted that some players report no difference to the raid difficulty post update 1.09. It is possible that bosses are bugged instead. The Division 2 update 1.09 released yesterday. While we are yet to test the 1.09 raid ourselves we can still confirm other issues to you.

Post update 1.09 there are some connectivity issues. Furthermore, The Division 2 update introduced a new bug to the loadouts and grenades. Loadouts won’t switch and your character won’t throw grenades.

That aside, the new update brings Gunner specialization for the year one season pass holders. Non-season pass holders need to complete five stages of challenges to unlock Gunner specialization. The following guide will help you unlock the Gunner specializations.

There is also a series of challenges to get exotic holster. You need to complete Outcast, True Sons, and Hyena control points on Alert Level 4. Each completion will get you an exotic holster part which must be donated to its respective Projects.

The Division 2 is now available on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
