Tekken 7 Heihachi Strategy Guide
Playing as Heihachi
Heihachi is one of the most advanced and difficult characters to play in the game apart from Devil Jin, Kazuya, Jin Kazama, etc. Some of his strengths include controlling space using EWGF, strong low attacks, decent punishment options, and a wave dash. His wave dash allows him to close in on the gap and apply pressure at his convenience.
At close range, he has some of the best mid attacks in the game that enables him to receive CHs and continuously pressure his opponent with jab strings. While he does have strong low attacks, his options are somewhat limited. Due to this, he must utilize his EWGF to its full potential and try to get CHs to maximum damage output.
Coming to his combo potential, you must learn to hit your EWGF and Crouch Dash. Perfecting this requires plenty of practice. You should be able to find plenty of YouTube tutorial by pro players like JDCR so do give them a look! For an easy BnB combo, try EWGF, b + 1, 2, Screw!, Dash in, d/f + 1, 2. For more damage, change it to EWGF, b + 1, 2, Screw!, Dash in, Crouch Dash, 4, 4, 1.
If you manage to carry your opponent to the wall, the safest option that also does a lot of damage is d/f + 1, 2. If you want something flashy and difficult to execute, try to go with Crouch Dash, 4, 4 4, n, 4. With this combo, you must ensure that you hit all the 4 inputs successfully!
