Sword Coast Legends Delayed to 2016 for PS4, Xbox One

Sword Coast Legends developers have announced a delay in the game release; PS4, Xbox One get it in Q1 2016 while PC users get it on Oct 20.

If you were expecting to get hold of Sword Coast Legends in the coming days for your PlayStation 4 or Xbox One, we are sorry to report that you will not be able to do so.

Sad as it is, this is the second videogame delay that we are reporting today. Previously it was Hitman and now n-Space has announced that their party based RPG is also not going to make it to the markets on the promised release dates.

It has been confirmed now that the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One version of the game will launch sometime in the first quarter of 2016 while the Windows, Mac and Linux versions will hit the racks on October 20, 2015.

Sword Coast Legends was originally scheduled to launch on September 29, 2015.

Dan Tudge, the President of n-Space and the Director for Sword Coast Legends added that it was not easy for them to announce a delay but since the game is not in a shape to be shipped yet, they will need that extra time in order to make it worthy of the latest generation of consoles.

When we set out to create Sword Coast Legends we wanted to give players an exciting new way to experience the magic of playing D&D with friends. The decision to delay the launch of Sword Coast Legends was not an easy one to make, but after receiving feedback from our dedicated community, it became clear that a few more weeks of polish would provide our customers with the best possible experience at launch.

Honestly, we think it is time that the videogame developers and publishers start acting professionally with regards to public announcements of release dates. We have had enough game delays in the past year to last us a lifetime.
