In this Super Mario Odyssey Snow Kingdom Power Moon Locations Guide, we will guide you on the locations of all the Power Moons located in the Snow Kingdom in Super Mario Odyssey. Power Moons are essential, as they are required to upgrade in Odyssey.
Super Mario Odyssey Snow Kingdom Power Moon Locations Guide
When you land in a kingdom, you will need to refuel and upgrade Odyssey. Every kingdom will have a specific requirement of Power Moons that you will need to collect before you can advance to the next Kingdom.
You will get Power Moons from completing objectives, beating bosses and in secret areas throughout the kingdoms.
You can collect the required number of Power Moons, advance to the next kingdom and then return later when the story ends to collect the remaining Power Moons as some can only be accessed once the story has ended. In this guide, we have focused on all Power Moons in the Snow Kingdom.
You will get seven Power Moons during the main story quests here while once you have opened the Power Moon, you will find another 17 Power Moons.
Below you will find the location of all Power Moons around the entire kingdom.
Power Moon #1
Get to the cave located on the right side of the races area entrance in Shiveria Town. Break the giant icicles by climbing to the top of the giant icicles to clear the way towards the Power Moon.
Power Moon #2
Located on the last platform inside a cave on the left side of the entrance of the races area. You will need to possess a cloud enemy to get up to the platforms.
Power Moon #3
When you defeat the Broodal boss, you will earn a Power Moon.
Power Moon #4
Enter the door on the right side of the blocked entrance and collect 5 Moon fragments.
Power Moon #5
Win the race and you will win a multi Moon. It is a combination of three normal Moons.
Power Moon #6
This one is located right at the entrance of the Shivera Town. As soon as you drop down, turn around and climb to the top of the cardboard boxes to grab the Power Moon.
Power Moon #7
Go to the Shiveria Town shop and pay the shopkeeper 100 gold coins for a Power Moon.
Power Moon #8
In Shiveria Town, head to the hallway to the right from the race track entrance. As you go along possess goombas and stack them up until you have four stacked up. You will soon see a floor panel with number four on it. You need to head to it. When the icicle drops, jump on it and reach the floor panel. This will unlock access to the Power Moon above the platform.
Power Moon #9
As you make your way to fight Rango off and retrieve the moon, you’ll have to pull a wooden post first. You can find a tunnel through the wall behind the second updraft’s platform.
Power Moon #10
You can find a pole to the right of the tunnels on the right. Use it to get to the second floor and proceed to head left to the gap in the railing. Use the chandeliers to get to the other side of the room. The power moon is located underneath the snow.
Power Moon #11
As you make your way to pick up moon 3, capture the Ty-Foo and blow the set of stairs out of the way and move through the archway. Capture the next Ty-Foo you see and go back to the stairs; this time blow them back into place and then ground pound the top of the arch to find the power moon.
Power Moon #12
Observe the northern side of the lake from Odyssey and you will find a rabbit hopping around near the edge. Capture it to get the power moon.
Power Moon #13
On the second floor of Shiveria Town, continue to clear the snow till the entrance and you will reach a hallway. Head up and to the left you can find a chest with the moon in it.
Power Moon #14
Once you’ve picked up Moon #13, hop to the platform nearest to you and use the bitefrost to go up. Jump to the crack on the wall and head right to find another chest with a power moon.
Power Moon #15
On the eastern shore of the lake there is a scarecrow. Drop off the ledge onto the platforms and parkour your way to the moon.
Power Moon #16
The second scarecrow can be found at the bottom level north-east of Odyssey. Get ready to shake your controller and climb the poles to collect the moon.
Power Moon #17
For this moon, you are going to have to collect different shards.
- The first one can be found while you’re chasing the rabbit to claim moon 12.
- The second one is located west behind the pillar of ice.
- Another can be found on an ice block next to the Ice Well.
- Control a Cheep Cheep and swim to the west to find another shard.
- The final shard is found on a platform south of the Ice Well.
Power Moon #18
Head to the North-Western corner of the lake and look for a note. Collect all of the notes to get the power moon.
Power Moon #19
Try to find the small pond in the South-Eastern corner of the map. You will find a Lakitu fishing, capture him and try to fish out the largest fish in order to find the power moon.
Power Moon #20
Towards the North side of the lake, above the shore, you will see a cave where snow has filled up. Clear it away to find Captain Toad inside with a shiny power moon.
Power Moon #21
Talk to the Shiverian across from the Crazy Cap shop. He will challenge you to wear a Shiverian racing uniform. Buy the boxer shorts from the Crazy Cap shop for 1,000 coins. Put ‘em on and talk to the guy again and he will reward you with a power moon.
Power Moon #22
Head to the Freezing Sea flag and go through the red door. In there you will get a Trace-Walking challenge. Be patient with the ice, and score 80 points to get the power moon.
Power Moon #23
Outroll your opponents as you participate in the Bound Bowl Grand Prix race. Keep pressing B as soon as you land to maintain speed. Win the race to get a power moon.
Power Moon #24 and #25
Head to the western shore of the lake and clear the snow to reveal a red door. You can pick one power moon up at the end of the race. For the second moon, go past the moon you just collected and jump over the ledge just behind the pipe. Run up the wall and you will find the power moon at the top.
Power Moon #26
Head North-East of the Odyssey and as you make your way to the Ice Well, you will come across a scarecrow chilling next to a door. Make your way all the arena through the freezing water to get the moon as a reward.
Before the end of the area, you can find a wide column of water taking you to the exit after you collect moon 26. Instead of going down, climb up and use the poles to swing your way to the left; you can find moon 27 here.
Power Moon #28
Capture a Ty-Foo near the Ice Well and go up the column where Odyssey is. Blow the block out of the way, only to find a hidden door behind it. Head inside to find a Ty-Foo along with two blocks. Blow the blocks into their respective colored slots (Red first, and then green). Climb up the stairs and you will be able to find your moon.
Power Moon #29
Go to the purple part of the Crazy Cap shop and get the Snow Hood and Snow Suit for 15 coins. Dress up and go down to the race. Use the pole on the right and talk to Shiverian located next to the locked door. Collect five moon shards in the 2-D world, and you’ll have yourself a full-fledged power moon.
Power Moon #30
Prior to exiting the world from Moon 29, stand on the platform above the green pipe. Jump and you will find two hidden blocks. Go on top of them and jump up through the ceiling, and go left to find an additional power moon.
Power Moon #31
To the east of the Ice Well, you can find a seed frozen in ice. Smash the ice and pick up the seed. Carry it to Odyssey. Set it down to uncork an updraft. Make sure to pick it back up and ride the updraft. You can find a pot on the pillar, plant your seed in it. Proceed to climb up the beanstalk and use the trampolines and updrafts to make your way to the moon located at the end.
Power Moon #32
Before exiting the area where you collected moon 31, look for the rings between the two updrafts. At the top of the one on the right, head back through the path you originally came from and use the trampoline to get to the left side and find the moon.
Power Moon #33
This moon can be found by simply finding the warp painting to the Snow Kingdom, which can be found randomly anywhere in the world. We found it in Bowser’s Kingdom.
Power Moon #34
As you make your way down to Shiveria Town, turn left as soon as you land in. You can find a painting located between a few crates which will point you to a hidden moon. Return to the Lost Kingdom and proceed to the Mountainside Platform. Head North from the Fuzzies, and then East. Go over the roots of the tree and ground pound the roots ahead to find a power moon.
Power Moon #35
Warp your way to the Above Ice Well Flag and make your way to the Koopa found in the North-East. Talk to him and the race will start. Finish the race (Watch out for the Ty-Foo at the end), and you will get the power moon.
Power Moon #36
In the area with the Snowline Circuit, speak to the character wearing a Bonneter on the left side (You can only get this moon if you’ve defeated Bowser for the final time) and you will be able to get the power moon.
Power Moon #37
Head to the Above the Ice Well warp flag, and go down the hole. Turn left when you’re down the hill and you can find Princess Peach standing on a step. Speak to her and get the power moon.

Power Moon #38
Climb on top of the Odyssey’s flagpole and go to the roof. Jump to the visible power moon (Long jump) and grab it.
Power Moon #39
Head South-East from Odyssey and the power moon will be on top of the frozen pond.
Power Moon #40
Get to the Corner of the Freezing Sea Flag (North-East) and possess the Cheep Cheep. You can find the power moon below the water along the eastern edge.
Power Moon #41
Warp to Above the Ice Well flag and jump down into the hole in the Shiveria Town.
Power Moon #42
From Above the Ice Well’s flag, jump down into the hole leading to Shiveria Town. Go down the ramp and go through the round hole located in the middle of the room. Go in the room to your left and jump up the stairs. To your left, enter the room with the wooden crates. Unlike dark souls, you will actually be able to find coins and a power moon within these crates.
Power Moon #43
Climb the tallest ice structure near Above the Ice Well’s warp flag and jump to another ice structure located to the east. Ground pound the glowing patch to get the power moon.
Power Moon #44
In the Corner of the Freezing Sea, head North-West into the slightly deeper part of the lake. Head underwater, and ground pound the center to find a power moon.
Power Moon #45
Head to Above the Ice Well flag, and jump down the hole again into Shiveria Town. Walk down the ram and enter the door to your right. Head north-east into Hollow Crevasse. You will see a glowing patch of ground underwater. Ground pound it to get a power moon.
Power Moon #46
From the Above the Ice Wall flag, once you jump down the hole from Shiveria town, run down the ramp and enter the door to your left (The second one). Go through the area and you will see something in the ground. Hit it with the cap and ground pound to get a power moon.
Power Moon #47
Head North-East from Above the Ice Wall flag and get ahold of the Cheep Cheep. Swim back the way you came from. You will see land on the right, jump over it and simply continue to swim your way to the power moon.
Power Moon #48
Jump down the hole to Shiveria town from Above the Ice Wall flag. Run down the ramp and enter the first door to your right. Capture the Goombas you find along the way and head back to the level up the stairs. Once you have a stack of 10 Goombas, stomp on the block with 10 written on it to find the power moon.
Power Moon #49
North-West from Odyssey, you will see two pools of water. Go into the lake and grab a fish for the Bonneter to study who can be found nearby. Swim back and jump to the closest pool and then the second pool of water. You will get the power moon for doing this.
Power Moon #50
Remember the ice walking challenge during moon 22? Score 90 points in it to get a second power moon.
Power Moon #51
The Master Cup for the Snow Kingdom is a race you will have to complete. Win the race in order to get a power moon.
Power Moon #52
Iceburn Circuit Class A. In order to get power moon 52, you will have to win this race. Make sure to bound at every opportunity you get. Don’t worry about trying to stay in front. Press B at the right times when inclined surfaces come by. Roll through if you’re not confident about your bound.
Power Moon #53
The same advice goes for Iceburn Circuit Class S, win the race in order to get another power moon.
Power Moon #54
Warp to Above the Ice Wall and go North-East into the gray chimney. Throw your hat at the scarecrows and run through the flower roads. Dodge any enemies, and you will find a power moon at the end of the course.
Power Moon #55
Warp to Above the Ice Wall and go North-East into another gray chimney. Jump to the left flower road once you go by the second Banazi Bill column. You can find the power moon floating here.
