Distance between Farms and Granary
First thing that you are going to do in Stronghold Crusaders 2 is create farms, which will produce food (Apples, Cheese, Meat, Bread) and after it is ready, the farmer will put it into the granary.
However, if the distance between the farm and granary is big, then the farmer will have to walk a long way every single time, which will slow down the production of reserves.
The best way to do this is to create farms and granary side by side. It will not only be helpful for the farmers, but it will also benefit you and your people who will get to eat on time. Walking distance should be as less as possible for fast production.
Stockpile
Wood, Iron, Stone, Ale, Flour, Pitch, Wheat, Hops and Candles are stored on the stockpile, making this the most important place of the your area, so make sure that all these stockpiles are placed around in certain areas where your people can easily access it.
Armory and Weapon Creators
This is the same as the aforementioned tips, as you will need to place your Armory and weapon creating buildings at a less distance, so that the weapon creator doesn’t have to walk for too long before he reaches the armory.
Houses
Houses are core in this game as they will help increase your population and depending upon their distance from your castle, the number of beds available is increased or decreased. Make sure that every house you build is near to your castle to get more people for your kingdom.
These are just some basic tips for any player who is playing Stronghold series for the first time. Doing these simple tasks can make your life a whole lot easier while playing the game.
