Star Wars Jedi Outcast Port Now Available On Switch And Playstation 4

A new Star Wars Jedi Outcast port first announced at the Nintendo Direct back at the beginning of September has finally been released not just on the Switch, but also the Playstation 4.The game is often widely regarded as one of the best Star Wars games ever, even today.

Star Wars: Jedi Knight 2: Jedi Outcast tells the story of Kyle Katarn, a member of Luke Skywalker’s new Jedi Order, who must track down and defeat a Dark Jedi named Desaan and stop him from creating an army of Sith to take over the New Republic with.

The game is seen as one of the best Star Wars games for a number of reasons. The story, your ability to travel to a wide variety of planets, and the gameplay, where you have a wide variety of weapons and Force powers to choose from, alongside your trusty lightsaber.

Jedi Outcast was the next entry in the “Dark Forces” series of first-person shooters, where Kyle Katarn was originally an agent for New Republic Intelligence, fighting Imperial remnant forces while also uncovering his Jedi heritage.

The game’s lightsaber combat turned out to be its main draw, as with the addition of Force powers players could have quite chaotic duels with enemies, to say nothing of the game’s multiplayer, where various characters and enemies from the story mode would take up lightsabers and other weapons and fight each other with them.

While the Star Wars Jedi Outcast port isn’t a true remastering (it works on the new systems but looks just like it did back in those days) it’ll still be a fun experience for you if you’ve been looking for a good narrative Star Wars game before Fallen Order releases in November.

You can currently buy the Star Wars Jedi Outcast port on both the Nintendo Switch and Playstation 4 for $10.
