The official Star Wars: Battlefront website was launched earlier today, giving us not only a fantastic screenshot and marvelous concept art, but also a release date.
The artwork (above) ties in with reports of a similar banner that was said to be spotted at the Star Wars Celebration venue for tomorrow’s reveal trailer. The screenshot (below) was located inside the website’s “News & Media” tab and shows an incredible display of outdoor lighting.
Internet detectives however were not all too satisfied with the offering and went digging inside the website’s source code. Their successful venture brought us this: “The latest news and updates for Star Wars™ Battlefront. Available November 17, 2015 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.”
If that line of text is authentic, Star Wars: Battlefront will indeed launch this year in November, provided there are no delays.
Star Wars: Battlefront will be receiving its first trailer tomorrow during a livestream. A week ago, DICE warned that the trailer will feature in-game graphics that will be so visually sound that players might believe it to be all CGI.
“I’m going to answer a question in advance: Yes, that is actually what the game looks like,” teased Lead Level Designer Dennis Brannvall on Twitter last week.
