EA May Be Working On A Star Wars Battlefront 2 Trailer Right Now

EA and DICE may be working on a Star Wars Battlefront 2 trailer right now, as was teased by a tweet from a DICE employee, but we have no real info yet.

EA’s version of the popular shooter Star Wars Battlefront got off to a divisive start when it released back in 2015.

While the game has adjusted now and become better with DLC and new mechanics, a Star Wars Battlefront 2 trailer may already be in the works, according to a tweet from a DICE employee.

In the tweet, which showed off MoCap artist Luke Mathews “pondering the ways of the force” in the tweet’s words, we didn’t get any real information, but going by the caption, not to mention all the Star Wars movies that are going to be coming out in the near future, DICE is already working on the next Battlefront title.

A new Star Wars Battlefront 2 trailer would help drum up at least some hype.

The first Battlefront got some accusations of being rushed on its release, which were later proven true as EA admitted that they’d rushed the game out in order to sync up with the release date for Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

Hopefully this time, EA has learned their lesson and is allowing DICE to take their time.

With the addition of a number of interesting game types, several of which involved battles in space instead of in the skies of the game’s various worlds, we may see space battles this time, a much beloved feature from the previous Battlefront 2 title that was missing from the 2015 Battlefront.

We can also hopefully expect new planets from the start, rather than the four that we got when the game initially launched (which was later boosted to three with the additions of Bespin, Jakku, and Scarif, the latter two to promote The Force Awakens and Rogue One), but there’s no telling just yet.

While we don’t really know what will be in the Star Wars Battlefront 2 trailer, hopefully DICE is going to make a Star Wars game that’s even better than the first one.
