While Star Wars Battlefront 2 is being criticized by gamers but, developer DICE is very saddened by all the criticism and believes that the studio has created a “really cool, fun, and beautiful game”. Also, DICE has promised that more changes will be made to the game’s progression system based on the community feedback.

Furthermore, the game is being investigated by the Belgian Gaming Commission to determine whether Crates (loot boxes) come under gambling or not. The reason why the game is being investigated is the country’s law that requires a permit for any gambling activity.

However, EA is not concerned about it as the company believes that there is no form of gambling involved in the game. “A player’s ability to succeed in the game is not dependent on purchasing crates. Players can also earn crates through playing the game and not spending any money at all. Once obtained, players are always guaranteed to receive content that can be used in game.”

Furthermore, Disney has given a complete creative freedom to DICE to use any element of the Star Wars franchise in the game, meaning the devs can offer a different outfit for its heroes.

Star Wars Battlefront 2 is a first-person action shooter developed by EA DICE for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.
