Sony’s E3 2018 press conference brought us a plethora of details about one of the most awaited games from the company, Ghost of Tsushima. Set in Feudal Japan during the Mongol invasion, players take control of a samurai trying to fight back the tyrants.
As you can see from the gameplay trailer above, swordplay is meaty and satisfying and backdrop compliments every action sequence perfectly. Speaking of backdrops, the beginning of the footage contains a text on the screen that gives some context to the ongoing conflict. According to the text, it has been nine days since the invasion began.
And from the looks of it, our hero is one of the last ones standing to protect Tsushima. However, it seems as if the battle is already lost. Our Samurai travels through a forest to reach a settlement where he deals with a handful of enemies before meeting up with a friendly face.
The ally directs him to a temple where a monk is being tortured. The Samurai heads there to successfully save the monk but as it turns out, the ally is actually after the monk herself. According to her, he betrayed her family which indicates that the monk may have something to do with the invasion.
As far as the graphics go, it is one of the best looking games to happen on PS4. The lighting, texture quality, art-style is incredible.
The game looks great and I am sure many of you are wondering about the game’s release date. Unfortunately, developers are still busy making sure they deliver a polished experienced to a release date isn’t confirmed at E3 2018. However, there are many rumors about it releasing this year.
If not, then the next time we may see the game it could be at PlayStation Experience in December. Ghost of Tsushima is releasing on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 4 Pro.
