The PlayStation E3 Experience returns this year by popular demand to theaters across North America.

Posting on the PlayStation Blog, Geoff Keighley revealed that he will be hosting a thirty-minute post-show at the event this year, which will feature extended footage, developer interviews, and digital codes for things “they can’t disclose yet”. Additionally, all attendants will walk back home with special goodies.

Tickets for the PlayStation E3 Experience will go live on Wednesday, May 27 at 9:00 AM PT on the official website. These are going to be free and will be on a first-come first-served basis. For those unwilling or unable to make it out for the PlayStation E3 Experience, the event will also be streamed to the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 live events viewer.

The PlayStation E3 Experience will take place on June 15 at 6:00 PM PT / 9:00 PM ET in theaters “in every state across the US — including Hawaii and Alaska — plus 3 cities in Canada.”

Last year, Sony planned something special for those who were unable to attend E3 in person. Local theaters were setup for fans to come and watch Sony’s E3 2014 press conference live. All that was required from them was to have a free ticket to the event.

Over 10,000 people signed up for the show, and the free tickets were sold out in 15 minutes or less. Once the press conference was over, all attendants in the theater were given early access to the Destiny Alpha and Battlefield: Hardline beta, a poster and commemorative laminate.
