Sekiro Shadows Die Twice Fountainhead Palace Walkthrough

You have to go through the Fountainhead Palace in Sekiro Shadows Die Twice depending on the choice you make with Owl earlier in the game to get to the final boss battle.

After you have completed the Ashina Depths, Sunken Valley, and have both items Kuro asked you to fetch, you will return to the Ashina Castle. Go to Kuro’s room and talk to Great Shinobi Owl and what you choose will determine the ending.

If You Side With Great Shinobi Owl
If you side with the Great Shinobi Owl then Emma will be the final boss and defeating her will end the game right here.

If You Don’t Side With Great Shinobi Owl
For the Fountainhead Palace, you will choose the “Break the Iron Code, Stay Loyal to Kuro” and then fight the Great Shinobi Owl.

Fountainhead Palace

After you have defeated him, you need to travel to Wedding Cave Door Sculptor’s Idol in the Ashina Depths. Go to the tent and a monster will transport you to the Fountainhead Palace.

Corrupted Monk Boss

Go through the door and you will face the Corrupted Monk on the bridge. This Corrupted Monk boss is a tough one with three health bars. Defeat the boss and Vermilion Bridge Sculptor’s Idol will unlock.

From here, drop down until you reach a pond and there will be houses nearby, quickly get out of the water, and avoid it. Go through the Manor and you will come to a red door protected by dog-like enemies. Go through the door and you will reach the Mibu Manor Sculptor’s Idol.

From this point, avoid running, as doing so will curse you. What you need to do is kill the squid-like enemies playing flute and take your time doing it.

Once you have dealt with them, you will reach the Flower Viewing Stage Sculptor’s Idol; interact with it. As you try to cross the bridge, it will be destroyed and you will grapple across the broken bridge.

Across the bridge, run behind the buildings, grapple to the ledges, and reach the viewing platform. Here you will find a locked door and you will go downstairs and interact with the Great Sakura Sculptor’s Idol.

The lightning enemy and the tree are nearby. Defeat him, dive into the pond, swim to the left, and you will come to an underwater cave. Swim through it and be careful of the giant fish, as it will eat you. Eventually, you will come to the other side of the locked door that you found earlier and the Palace Grounds Sculptor’s Idol.

Divine Dragon Boss Fight

From here, grapple across and you will reach some stairs along with Sanctuary Sculptor’s Idol. After this, there is a boss fight so prepare yourself. Pray at the Sculptor’s Idol and it will trigger the Divine Dragon boss fight.

Before you divert your attention towards the boss himself, first kill all the small White Dragons and ignore the colored one. Now that you have killed the smaller ones, it is time to deal with the boss himself. Defeat the Divine Dragon and you will acquire the Divine Dragon’s Tears. Now it is time to go back to Kuro’s room in the Ashina Castle Main Tower.
