Sekiro Folding Screen Monkeys boss fight is pretty cool that requires you to play hide and seek with a couple of monkeys. Therefore, stealth is the primary focus here though there will be some monkeys that will attack you.

There are 4 monkeys that you have to catch here i.e. Orange, Green, Purple, and the last one is invisible. The monk at the start will give you some information about them. Start by chasing the monkeys by grappling towards them. This will scatter them and you can hunt them one at a time.

In order to find the monkeys either grapple around like crazy until one of the yellow detection markers reveals their location or manually search every rooftop and building.

Each monkey you kill will summon some extra monkeys that will attack you. They are easy to deal with. However, each monkey you kill progressively increases the number of monkeys that spawn.

Therefore, the second-last monkey you kill will summon like 6 monkeys which can be a problem. While the monkeys themselves do not deal much damage, they build up your Threat Gauge.

Once the Threat Gauge is completely filled, you will die instantly! And filling the Threat Gauge for 6 monkeys is not too difficult.

First off, we will start with the Orange Monkey. According to the Monk’s description, the Orange Monkey does not have anything special.

He just causes a commotion when he spots you. Locate him, sneak up behind him, and perform a Deathblow on him.

Moving on to the Green Monkey that has great hearing according to the Monk. From the point where you spawn, move ahead and reach straight ahead to the other part of the bridge by grappling.

Here, you will find a note warning you not to ring the bell along with a bell. You will also be able to see the Green Monkey on top of a balcony ahead. Before you make a move, ring the bell to stun the monkey and go in for an easy kill.

The Purple Monkey has extremely good eyesight. It can spot you from very far ahead. Head to the tower on the left, there you can open a door that blows the wind inside the room, cutting off all the lighting from the room.

Find and lower the Purple Monkey to this room. The Purple Monkey will usually be at this tower, inside the room or on top of it. Lower him, climb up the tower and perform an Aerial Deathblow on him.

The Invisible Monkey is pretty easy to find. He will be chasing you the whole time. You can see him stumbling on things. You can also hear him if you have good headphones.

Therefore, just turn around and backtrack until you collide with him. At that point, swing like a madman and he should be dead.
