Scalebound: Dragons Are a “Very Personal Part of You”

Scalebound developers say that dragons of the game are a very personal part of the player as they will be able to customize unlock perks.

Scalebound looks spectacular and its gameplay shown at E3 did nothing but hype things up even more. Being able to do 4 player coop and have dragons you can control? Count me in.

Dragons are a huge part of the game, you will not only be facing them but you can ride them in the open world, customize your dragon and show it off to friends.

According to Hideki Kamiya and creative producer JP Kellams, dragons are a very personal part of the player in Scalebound.

We really want players to spend a lot of time tinkering with the trade-offs they make with their dragons. The dragon is your showcase – you want to go into the open world, grind, buy loot, customize your dragon, show your dragon off. The dragon’s going to be a very personal part of you

You can consider your dragon to be an extension of yourself.

The main campaign is playable in coop and throughout the game you’ll have access to dragons. The game can be played with up to 4 players on Xbox One and Windows 10 PC.

Scalebound is one of the games that would release under Microsoft’s Play Anywhere system. You can buy the game on one platform and get it for the other for free using the same Xbox Live account.
