Resident Evil Revelations Infernal Walkthrough

Surviving Infernal 101

You should use your normal Government Handgun as your primary weapon for long-range combats and it is advised that you place the following attachments on it:

  • Damage (Highest Level)
  • Long Magazine (Highest Level)
  • Burst Three

You are going to lose a large amount of ammo with the Burst Three attachment but that shouldn’t worry you as there is a whole bunch of Handgun ammo present throughout the game. Just find the most suitable damage yielding upgrade for your weapon and it will help you out greatly.

You should also carry Hydra Shotgun with you at all the times because the normal ooze are too agile on ‘Infernal’ difficulty so if one comes near you, you should have something to blast it off and Hydra Shotgun will help you out there. Also don’t forget to find the most suitable attachments for it preferably the ones that do a lot of damage.

Another weapon that you want to keep with you most of the time during the game is PSG-1 rifle. It can kill normal oozes quite easily through a long distance so it’s pretty handy and its ammo are also abundant.

There will be situations when you won’t need a Green Herb so just leave it there and remember the place so that you can go there later to pick it up when you need it.

Don’t waste your Green Herbs only because you have 100% on your Genesis Scanner. Keep it safe, you might want it at some point. It is advised that you walk with the 100% Genesis Scanner all the time.

If you are running low and health and do not have any Green Herb left. Take your chances by scanning the attacking enemies.

Store as much Machine Gun ammo as you can for future battles. The only fight when you should not worry about Machine Gun ammo is with Rachael in Episode 4. You really want to have a hell lot of Machine Gun ammo for the battle with Abyss form 2 in Episode 12.

PSG-1 rifle is an amazing weapon for killing the Scagdead and Draghignazo in Episodes 3 and 6 respectively. You don’t want to store ammo for this weapon as plenty of it is available throughout the game.

Also store a bunch of ammo for the Magnum so that you can use it during the battle with Malacoda in Episode 11. You can’t rely on the Rocket Launchers all the time. Magnum is a great weapon for taking out this boss. And you won’t even need this weapon in the final battles so it is better to use it here.

Save a ton of Shock Grenades for Episode 8 and 9 as Scarmigliones are very weak in front of Shock Grenades.

Ammo Cases Locations

For the most part of your infernal playthrough, you will be in dire need of ammo and this is where these ammo cases will come in handy.

Magnum Ammo Case
Turn on the pumps in the control room of Solarium during Episode 3. And then during Episode 4, scan the spikes on the left after stepping out of the pool across Solarium.

Shotgun Ammo Case
You can find it under the stairs next to the Green Herb in the Maintenance Room passage area during Episode 5, Scenario 2.

Magnum Ammo Case
In Episode 7, Scenario 1, scan the vase on North-East of Guest Cabin.

Rifle Ammo Case
During Episode 7, Scenario 1, check the green weapon crate on your right after stepping out of the Guest Cabin.

Handgun Ammo Case
During Episode 8, Scenario 3, it can be found on your left in long tunnel after you step out of the elevator. It is just before the end of chapter.

Shotgun Ammo Case
Episode 12, Scenario 1, it can be found on the table on your right in the dark room with the soldier after the hall with dead Globster.

Episode 1

During your first fight with the Ooze be sure to keep your distance and attack it with your Government Handgun. You can also switch to your Shotgun and blast it off if you want.

You will HAVE to use your M92F Handgun on the Sea Coast. During your fight with the Globster, you will notice that it has more health than it does on the ‘Normal’ difficulty. Aim for the mouth and frequently keep on backing up a little to have a safe distance.

Episode 2

While playing as Chris in this episode, don’t open the container near plane crash to scan the flesh inside. Save it for Keith and Quint scenario during Episode 5. They will need that Green Herb.

Episode 3

Activate the elevator with Jessica and Parker and then rush back to the entrance corridor in lobby. Wait for Hunters to rush to Jessica and Parker. Stand near the lobby so that you can see their movement. Then toss a grenade at them to do loads of damage. Use your Machine Gun and Shotgun to kill the remaining.

Use the most suitable attachments for your PSG-1 rifle that yield maximum damage and have large ammo capacity and blast the Scagdead with it. Use the counter in café underneath to your advantage and keep on crossing it to kill the Scagdead.

Also use as much grenades as you can to kill the Scagdead with the continuous rifle shoots to kill it quickly. Also keep an eye on the Oozes, they will appear in the areas but the grenades will keep them at bay and might even kill them.

Episode 4

Before going to the Examination Room downstairs, arm your Machine Gun with the highest damage dealing attachment, load capacity and highest fire rate upgrades and don’t forget to keep your rifle with you.

Keep on shooting Rachael as it advances towards you with your Machine Gun and if you run low on ammo by some chance then quickly swap to your PSG-1 rifle and blast it.

During the final fight in lounge, back away from it and all the Oozes that have appeared in the room and start throwing all the grenades you have. And then quickly kill them all with your rifle.

A Hydra with Charge Shot 3 can knock Rachael off her feet giving you the time to charge another shot and repeat the same process over and over again.

Episode 5

During your fight with the Sea Creepers, equip your Python Magnum with the highest damage yielding upgrade and shoot them as they come out of water from long range.

Don’t use too many Shock Grenades on them as you will need them during Episode 8 and 9. Just 1 or 2 should suffice. Moreover, if you don’t wish to come back at any other point, make a run for it.

During your way back to the Gear Puzzle, take the door on your left in the Engine Room Corridor and take the lower level to make your way back. In this way, you won’t encounter any enemies at all!

During the encounter with Farfarellos with Keith and Quint at the Crash Site, dash to the other side in front of place and keep on shooting them from distance using your Machine Gun or Handgun or swap to your shotgun if they come too close.

Episode 6

Scan as much enemies as you can while you are with Chris. This will work great for you as Chris will receive number of Green Herbs for doing this.

When you are with Chris and Jessica in the Promenade area, fight or run from the Oozes to your convenience. Although I will recommend getting all the items that are there in the room.

While fighting with the two Scagdeads with Chris and Jessica, throw a lot grenades at them and shoot them from a distance using Handgun. You can also throw Pulse Grenades at them to stun them so that you can do a quick charged melee. This way you can save a lot of ammo.

During the fight with the Draghignazo in the elevator, don’t forget to scan it when it looks into the elevator. You can complete a 50% scan this way. If it tries to hit the elevator, use Hydra Shotgun against it.

Your PSG-1 rifle should be equipped with the highest damage dealing upgrade along with high ammo capacity and high fire rate. During your fight with Draghignazo outside the elevator, use your shotgun on it from close range in the beginning since the attacks are very predictable in the beginning.

After draining 50% of its health, swap to your rifle, keep your distance, and keep on shooting it until its dead.

Episode 7

Run by the Oozes, Rachael and Scagdead in the Cargo Room and also leave the Rocket Launcher lying there. As Episode 8 begins, go back to that area and you will find the Rocket Launcher still lying there. Save it for the last boss fight.

Episode 8

Be ready to blast the tentacles while in the boat with Chris and Jessica. Keep an eye on them and as they begin to approach towards the boat, get ready to attack.

Use the grenades in the Gatling gun to shoot them as they appear out of water. You can destroy multiple tentacles using this way. Also keep on shooting them through distance.

Don’t use your Shock Grenades during the battle with Scarmiglione! Instead use your Pulse Grenades to stun him and keep on shooting it with Machine Gun at any area you find not covered by its shield. If you have a decent aim, you can always take out your Magnum and blast its head to do the maximum damage possible.

Episode 9

During the part where enemies attack Keith, take all your weapons and stand near the elevators as the enemies come into view and fight all the enemies from there. Leave the two Green Herbs that are available in this room.

Use your Machine Gun to keep the Fenrirs and Hunters at length. If they come too close, switch to your shotgun and blast them off. Use your Magnum against Farfarellos. They will only take 3 shots from Magnum.

After your dialogue with Morgan, many Oozes will come to attack. It is a good idea to use your rifle and kill them from a distance. It is also advised that you kill the Bone Shooters first and then the rest.

Use any Shock Grenades that you are left with on the Scarmiglions. Keep between the two platforms near the exit door. This will provide you with an excellent cover against Bone Shooters.

Episode 10

In the Steam Room, Go over the green ammo crate and take Python Magnum. You don’t have to carry a shotgun with you at this point. Just carry a Python Magnum, rifle and any other weapon you want to use against the Malacoda in Episode 11.

Run past both the Scarmigliones in the Steam Room area. When the first of the two appears, toss a Pulse Grenade at it to stun it and turn off the steam valve to stop the steam blocking your way and climb up the ladder. Run the second Scarmiglione as well.

While running to the front of the ship as it tilts, remember to stay on your far right to avoid all the falling objects.

Episode 11

Use your Python Magnum to blast the Malacoda’s tentacles and when the helicopter throws the boxes, use to knife to open them and take out the rocket launcher.

During the flashback scenario with Parker, you will be left with very less ammo. The first Hunter will almost drain Parker of his ammo. And you will be bound to use your handgun. Use your machine gun to knock the Hunters off their feet and then use your handgun to blast them off.

The part where Parker escorts Raymond on his shoulders is quite hard. Aim for the head and make your every shot count. If Parker stops to reload, he will probably get hit. Remember to aim for the head! And when the final wave appears, use all your grenades to kill them all.

Episode 12

Don’t forget to equip your machine gun with highest damage yielding upgrade, high ammo capacity and highest fire rate attachment. And take the Hydra Shotgun and Python Magnum along with the P-90 or MP5 Machine Gun.

Final form of Abyss has huge HP so it will be a hard battle.

You can use the rocket launcher that you saved earlier and drain off 30,000 HP from it or you can save it until the point when he starts leaning a bit and then aim for the yellow spot on its back to increase the damage.

Aim for the chest and head all the time. Hydra Shotgun is a great weapon to do loads of damage but P-90 or MP5 shooting do consistent damage. Also don’t forget to shoot the yellow spot on its back whenever it leans over to do a good amount of damage. Spam it anything you have until it’s dead!
