Resident Evil 7 Puzzle Solutions

Party Room Puzzle

This puzzle is found in the attic, directly above the children’s room. In order to trigger the puzzle, you basically need to insert the tape into the VCR. If you manage to solve the entire thing in less than 5 minutes, you get to unlock ‘Out before Dessert’ Trophy/Achievement.

The first thing that you need to do is to pick up the candle, walk to the cake, and listen to Lucas. Do note that it is impossible to light the candles on the cake for the time being. Therefore, open the code lock in order to get the Straw Doll.

The combination you need is Noose – Raven on Hat – Fetus.

Once done, get the Winding Key from the barrel. From there, you need to light the kitchen stove and burn the Straw Doll to find a dummy finger. The next thing that you need to do is to light the candle using the stove and burn the rope on the door.

From there, head inside the room and pick the balloon from near the cabinet inside. Take this balloon to the gas pipe and place it in order to receive a Quill Pen. After getting all three items (Quill Pen, Winding Key, and Dummy Finger) head over to the mannequin from where you acquired the candle and get the ‘Loser’ password.

You need to use this password on the lock inside the balloon room in order to get the Valve Handle. You need to take this handle to the cake room and place it on the pipe to shut down the sprinkles.

Now all that remains is to re-light the candle one last time and light all the candles on the cake in order to solve the puzzle.

Alternate Party Room Puzzle (Story-Related)

The story-related party room puzzle needs to be solved a little differently from the one mentioned earlier. For this one, you need to avoid getting the Winding Key from the barrel. If you do so, you will end up dying.

In order to survive, get the candle and listen to Lucas by walking towards the cake. Light this candle at the stove and burn the rope in order to head inside the balloon room. Once inside, enter the ‘Loser’ password in order to acquire the Valve Handle.

Use this Valve Handle in the cake room. After Lucas throws a bomb into the room, open the barricade located in the corner and throw the bomb through a hole in the wall.

Stabilizer Secret Puzzle

In order to complete this puzzle, you first need to acquire the Snake Key. The key basically allows you to access Jacob’s room and the attic above it. You should be able to find a Toy Shotgun and a Toy Axe near the right-hand side of the attic’s entrance.

After obtaining the items, you need to head over to the yard and find a hidden puzzle inside a corner bush. Once you have found the puzzle, you basically need to insert number ‘7’ in the five-digit code using the Toy Axe with the projector.

This should solve this easy hidden puzzle and allow you to get your hands on a Stabilizer that increases Ethan’s reload speed.
