Resident Evil 2 Remake has received update 1.05. You can now download Update 1.05 on PlayStation 4. The download and install size of Update 1.05 on the PS4 will be 240 MB. Please take note that Update 1.05 only adds a new trophy and now displays a pre-order option for Resident Evil 3 in the main menu.
This is the update of the original classic survival horror, which coincides with the 20th anniversary of the Resident Evil saga. It represents a change of playable perspective, game style and atmosphere, a very ambitious concept from the technical and artistic level but that maintains the essence of the original. In other news, recently it was one of the most important days for Resident Evil fans as one of the most anticipated ads finally arrived: Resident Evil 3 Remake. This is a fact and the best thing is that it will arrive in a few months. In case this was not enough, Capcom continued with the celebrations by revealing the new sales goal of the most recent remake, Resident Evil 2.
Through a press release, Capcom took advantage of the official presentation of Resident Evil 3 Remake to reveal very important information regarding the performance of the franchise in the market and also of its most recent delivery, the Resident Evil 2 remake.
In that sense, the Japanese company revealed that the franchise, which it defines as one of the most important in its history, has already sold 94 million copies, adding all the deliveries that have been launched since that historic Resident Evil on PlayStation in 1996.
Capcom also announced that the most recent game in the series, the Resident Evil 2 remake, already sold 5 million copies after its debut. This data was compiled by Daniel Ahmad, an analyst at Niko Partners, who revealed that the game has already surpassed the original PlayStation version, which sold 4.96 million units, not counting releases on other consoles.
