A trilogy of games from award-winning indie studio ThatGameCompany is being prepared by Sony for a remastered release on the PlayStation 4.

The bundle will feature Fl0W, Flower, and the critically acclaimed Journey on a single Blu-ray disc. The remastered version of Journey however will also see to a standalone digital release on the PlayStation Store, which will be available alongside the collection this summer. Hence, players don’t necessarily have to purchase the collection if they are just interested in trying out Journey.

According to reports, Journey will feature even crispier visuals and run at 60 frames-per-second with native support for 1080p. It will be part of a cross-buy scheme and so those who already own the game digitally on the PlayStation 3, won’t have to purchase the re-release.

Journey is only one of many games that Sony has on its list of remasters for the PlayStation 4. Recently the company announced to be re-releasing God of War 3, which didn’t quite fare well with the community since the game already looks beautiful on the last-gen console. There are several other titles that may need overhauling, and God of War 3 isn’t one of them.

Journey was released in 2012 for the PlayStation 3 and is widely considered to be the most successful game of ThatGameCompany. Following its release, it went on to become the fastest selling game on the PlayStation Network and was bombed with great reviews left and right.
