Here Is Why You Need Two Red Dead Redemption 2 Discs

Looks like the rumors are true, new images have surfaced which shows us that Red Dead Redemption 2 will come with 2 discs. Red Dead Redemption 2 Discs were spotted by a Canadian Youtuber and they seem very legit.

YouTuber who goes by the name of “PressStartKofi” Tweeted few images of his early review copy of Red Dead Redemption 2.

Surprisingly there are two Red Dead Redemption 2 Discs in the case. One disc is a “Data Disc” and other being a “Play Disc.” The data disc has written “insert it first” on it and the play Disc says to “insert it second”.

Data disc will install the game data while the play disc is required to be inserted in order to play the game.

In short, data disc will be a one time install and for rest of the time, you will only need to put play disc inside your Xbox or PS4 to play Red Dead Redemption 2.

RDR 2 is very massive in size. It’s now available for preload on PS4. You will need around 105 GB to download it on your PS4 system. This is the without a doubt the biggest game on the current generation of consoles.

RDR 2 weighs 85 GB on Xbox One so you guys better start downloading as it’s going to take some time.

It’s no surprise that the game is this big. It consists of a massive in-game map covering significant parts of the United States. The game is full of activities, weapons and different locations.

However, there is no news of the PC version of the game. But, the game’s listing suggests that Red Dead Redemption 2 is coming to PC in Q4 2019.

More leaks of RDR 2 are coming day by day. We recently got an early look at the steel book edition of the game. In other news, people are reporting that they are not getting RDR 2 on launch. It will be shipped in November.

RDR 2 will launch on October 26 for Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
