The RYNO 8 is one of the 20 weapons you are going to have in Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart. This is definitely a weapon to watch for as it’s a staple for the series and usually the most powerful. In this guide, we will tell you everything you need to know about getting the RYNO 8 weapon in Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart.
How to get the RYNO 8 in Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart
RYNO 8 is an end-game weapon that’s useful while playing the game in Challenge Mode. Since the theme of Ratchet and Clank Rift apart is dimensional rifts, its appropriate that the RYNO 8 opens a rift and drops down a random object that explodes.
To get this amazing weapon you will have to find all the hidden Spybots in the game.
The Spybots you have to find total of 10. You can get all these Spybots from exploration and as rewards for the side quests and the Battleplex Challenges.
All 10 Spybots that you will find on the different planets in Ratchet and Clark: Rift Apart are listed below.
- Corson V
- Blizar Prime
- Torren IV
You can only get the RYNO 8 after successfully collecting all the Spybots. So, we will also be giving you a brief description below as to where each Spybot is on each planet.
The Spybot on this planet is located past a factory. You need to exit the factory near the Nefarious City by jumping through its upper levels and then collect the Spybot from a docking area on the right side, across the train tracks.
This Spybot has an objective tied to it. You need to collect 60 Zurpstones which are scattered across Sargasso to gain this Spybot as a reward from Trudi.
For the first Spybot, you have to complete the story missions for the Viceron planet and then complete the Vroom Around Gold Challenge on the Scarstu planet to get this Spybot.
For the second Spybot, you need to unlock the Hurlshot ability during the story missions on Torren IV planet. Once you have this ability, come back to Scarstu and look beyond Ms. Zurkon’s shop to find it on a platform near some crates. You will be able to reach this platform using the grapple.
Complete the “Find the Missing Chef” side quest to unlock this Spybot on the Blizar Prime planet.
You need to head over to the cave system on Savali and look around the pirate ship inside the cave to find this Spybot.
You have to go to the village on Torren V to find the Spybot near the bottom right side of the map.
The Spybot on Cordelion is located near the Kedaro Station.
The Spybot on the Ardolis planet is located on a smaller island which you can reach by moving alongside different platforms.
The last Spybot is located inside the building in the middle of the map on the Viceron planet.
After collecting all the Spybots listed above you will be called by Ms. Zurkon. She will tell you that the weapon is ready to be collected. You just have to go to any of the Ms. Zurkon vendors on any of the available planets and collect this weapon.
The best part is you don’t even need to pay for this weapon it is available to be collected free of cost. RYNO 8 is still a great deadly weapon to have in the game, but you can still upgrade it by spending Raritanium to make it even deadlier.
When you have this weapon in your arsenal, you will also unlock the Aim to Misbehave trophy!
