Massively Multiplayer Online RPGs usually have quite a huge fan base, and these games are the ones plagued most by various issues. Every MMO on launch has a variety of problems that are fixed over the course of time. However, if you can’t even get into the game, it gets frustrating.
These errors and crashes can sometimes be avoided by following simple workarounds. If you can’t wait for a patch or not sure whether the problem is universal or not, you can refer to our troubleshooting guide to find the workarounds.
#1 Ragnarok Online 2 Error – Can’t Start the game
If you have managed to get to the launcher and nothing happens after pressing ‘Play’ then you should do the following:
- Go to the location where Ragnarok Online 2 is Installed
- Right click on the main .exe for the game,
- Set it to run in compatibility mode for Windows XP SP3.
- Restart your PC and this should work.
#2 Ragnarok Online 2 _AhnHS_HSUpdateEx Error Code: 30000030
If restarting Steam and running the game as administrator hasn’t helped you, then for the time being, wait is the only option you have. The issue is related to the Hackshield which seems broken. It is supposed to be fixed soon.
#3 Ragnarok Online 2 – Can’t Install the Game
If you are struggling to install the game, shut down Steam and reload it. The installer should work fine now.
#4 Ragnarok Online 2 Error – Failed to Update Patch
If the automated update isn’t working for you, you can download the content manually and apply it. Keep in mind that the developer is aware of the issue and they are working to fix it.
#5 Ragnarok Online 2 – Registration Issues
Many users are having issues with registration. The servers had some issues so i will recommend that you keep on trying here. After you are done with registration launch the game using “.exe”.
#6 Ragnarok Online 2 – Low FPS Problem
If you own a good rig and are sure that the drivers are up to date, you should try downloading the game client from some other source. I am not sure that whether this will work or not but some users have reported it to working.
