Purchasable Avatars Coming to PSN for PlayStation 4 Users

PlayStation users will soon be able to buy avatars to personalize their PSN account. Prices are yet to be revealed but they shouldn't be expensive.

Sony has made a new announcement regarding PSN avatars on PlayStation 4. Users will soon be able to buy avatars from the PlayStation Store.

This feature was introduced on PlayStation 3 and is available for the first time on Sony new platform. The official Twitter account made the announcement but made a mistake in the initial post.

The avatars aren’t available right now but they will be starting next week. PlayStation Twitter corrected its mistake with an update.

So starting next week players will be able to buy some cool avatars to personalize their PSN account. Prices aren’t yet shared if I remember correctly most of the avatars weren’t above $1 on PS3, so expect similar pricing.

Excited for purchasable avatars on PS4? We’ll let you know as soon as they are available.
