Reddit users are reporting that following PS4 Software Update 6.02, the console is facing a number of problems.
These PS4 problems range from no audio to console crash. One Reddit user has reported that following PS4 Software Update 6.02, he is experiencing screen flickering.
Sony is yet to comment on the problem caused by the PS4 Software Update 6.02. However, Sony will now have to roll out a fix for these problems too.
The update came following the spam message exploit that was bricking PS4. Sony has taken care of the spam exploit and also revealed a solution for bricked PS4.
To fix the bricked console, all you have to do is delete the messages from the PS mobile app. Then start PS4 in safe mode and select option 5. The system will restart and PS4 will go back to normal.
Speaking of the PlayStation 4, the console is near the end of its life cycle. However, before we get a PS5, Sony reportedly has an unannounced PS4 exclusive to announce.
According to the report, the unannounced PS4 exclusive will be a proper first-party title and won’t be a PSVR game. It will be interesting to see what Sony will bring.
However, Sony has already started working on it. According to Sony president and CEO Kenichiro Yoshida, the company has plans for PS5. He also admitted that working on a PlayStation 5 has become “necessary”.
PS4 has the best console exclusives this console generation with more to come. Aside from new releases, Spiderman PS4 will be getting DLC starting with The Heist DLC.
Insomniac Games has noted that the Heist DLC will only bring high-quality content. According to Bryan Intihar, gamers want more of the quality content and that is what they want to deliver.
As for the next-gen consoles, not everyone thinks that 4K/60 FPS a necessary standard for PlayStation 5 and next Xbox. According to devs, players want the best visuals and this shouldn’t be taken for granted.
