Some good news for players who are not subscribed to PS Plus, over the weekend Sony is making multiplayer access for PS4 games free. Community Specialist Kristine Steimer took to Playstation Blog to reveal the exciting news.

PlayStation Plus is opening up online multiplayer to our PS4 owners, so you all can play with your friends. This gives owners of recent titles like Destiny, Madden NFL 15, FIFA 15 and Diablo III a chance to try out their great multiplayer components.

The promotion is a good way to make new players interested in subscribing to Sony’s PS Plus service. Free multiplayer weekend is starting from Friday, September 26 at 12:01am Pacific and will go on till Sunday, September 28 at 11:59pm Pacific.

The promotion is open to all PS4 owners and the timing coincides with the release of Fifa 15. So this is a great opportunity for non PS Plus players to experience Fifa 15’s great multiplayer.

Single player aside, the recently released Destiny is mostly about multiplayer and if you own the game and have not yet played it online due not being a member of PS Plus, trust me you are missing out on some great cut throat battles.

So be sure to give Destiny’s multiplayer a try this Friday and if you need some assitance check out our guide which will help you quickly level up weapons and armour.

This weekend will surely flood Sony servers with players from all over the world logging in to benefit from this opportunity, will you be one of them? Share with us in the comments below!
