PS Vita Getting 6 New Video Apps Including Hulu Plus

Sony Entertainment has decided to bring six new apps to PS Vita, with three of them available now and the other three coming in a few days time.


According to a post on the PlayStation Blog, the PS Vita is going to get six new video apps with three of them available today.

As of Today, the owners of PS Vita will be able to download Crunchyroll, NHL Game Center Live and Qello Concerts. The details on all three of them are as follows:

Crunchyroll:
Watch the latest and best selection of Anime from Japan, including Naruto Shippuden, Attack on Titan, Kill la Kill, Hunter × Hunter and many more, as early as one hour after Japanese broadcast.

NHL GameCenter LIVE:
Instantly stream live out-of-market games in HD quality with your NHL GameCenter LIVE subscription.

Qello Concerts:
You can now watch your favorite artist’s full-length performances in HD whenever and wherever you want. Qello Concerts streams the largest collection of HD concerts and music documentaries right to your PS Vita, including popular artists such as Coldplay, Linkin Park, Nirvana, Bob Marley, Beyonce, and so much more. With Qello Concerts, the concert never ends!

Following the aforementioned three additions, in coming spring, PS Vita will receive Gaiam TV which would include the fitness and yoga segments.

Another famous app, Hulu Plus will be making its way to PS Vita next week on March 25th which will let you stream the network television shows with the subscription of $7.99 per month.

Finally the app ‘Redbox Instant by Verizon’ will also be releasing on March 25th. This app will offer the newest members a month of free streaming of movies. The subscribers of this app will be able to rent the Blu-ray or DVD version of all the newly released movies.

These new video apps will join so many other great apps already working on the PS Vita and can be downloaded from the PS Vita section of the PlayStation store.
