PS Plus Line-up for May Leaked Ahead of Next Week’s Reveal

Since PlayStation Plus was announced by Sony for PlayStation platforms, every month fans have been getting free games on their systems. PlayStation 3 had some great games on its library and I loved being a member.

Unfortunately, since I moved to PlayStation 4 I’m starting to regret paying for PlayStation Plus. However, nothing can be done about it now because online multiplayer is behind a pay-wall.

For months, we are being offered indie games – great games without a doubt – but nothing massive.  Massive is something which we all have come to expect from PlayStation Plus.

I can’t recall the last time we got a big game on PS Plus for PS4. They did gave us Infamous: First Light not too long ago, but apart from that things have been quiet for a while.

However, next month things could change according to a new leak. The German PlayStation Blog mistakenly posted free PS Plus games for the month of May. The line-up was suppose to be revealed next week so the post has since been removed.

The leak suggests that PlayStation 4 users are getting the popular Rayman Legends and the launch title Knack next month. I love Rayman Legends but I would have loved to see Killzone: Shadow Fall rather than Knack.

Over at the PlayStation 3 side of things, we have Need for Speed Rivals, Rayman Legends and Shovel Knight. Shovel Knight is also hitting PS4 for free by the way.

Here’s the full line-up:

  • Rayman Legends
  • Need for Speed: Rivals
  • Shovel Knight

  • Rayman Legends
  • Shovel Knight
  • Knack

PS Vita

  • Shovel Knight
  • Asphalt Injection
  • Fruit Ninja

Shovel Knight recently came out so it’s really unlikely it will be available for free on any of these systems. That does make me question the authenticity of this information.

I guess we will have to wait until next week for an official reveal of the line-up.
